Camp Mardela Outdoor School - No Child Left Inside

Camp Mardela's Outdoor School, No Child Left Inside, is located in Denton, Maryland on our 125 acre woodland campus.

Outdoor School programs are approximately 4 hours long and include large group activities and exploration stations where students get a hands-on experience with the natural world.

Students, teachers, and chaperones bring packed lunches to enjoy as a picnic in our picnic pavilion. Each day is designed to provide a fun and exciting learning experience and to encourage children to consider the impact, positive and negative, that humans can have on their environment

Students will produce a craft (bird house or bird feeder) that they can take with them when they leave the program. Hayrides may be arranged in advance of the trip.

Camp Mardela invites you to join us for a day of exciting, hands-on environmental education!

For the 2012 year, field trips may be scheduled on Tuesdays-Fridays in the spring and fall. Since we are no longer receiving grant money to provide services the following prices are in effect: 2012 Rates: $4.00 per student Free for parent/chaperone Free for teachers
