Service Days

There are many ways to serve Camp Mardela, but one of our biggest needs is service volunteers. We do not have full-time maintenance staff, and the upkeep of Camp Mardela depends mainly on volunteers. Below are some of our service opportunities. Lunch is provided on all service days!

Thursday Volunteer Days

9am-3pm

Any and all Camp Mardela maintenance, cleaning, vehicle, building, or property projects that need to be done each week!

Fall - 2023

Nov 11

9am-5pm

Camp winterizing - shut-off water, decorate for Christmas, close down seasonal buildings.

Summer - 2023

August 5

9am-5pm

Camp Clean-Up - clean camp buildings, put away camp supplies, organize program areas, lost-and-found, etc.

Winter - 2024

Feb 10

9am-3pm

Winter Maintenance, organizing, painting, cleaning, repairs, archival work, auction prep, etc.
