Service Days

There are many ways to serve Camp Mardela, but one of our biggest needs is service volunteers. We do not have full-time maintenance staff, and the upkeep of Camp Mardela depends mainly on volunteers. Below are some of our service opportunities. Lunch is provided on all service days!

IMPORTANT CAMP CLEAN-UP UPDATE for supporting churches

This year, we are RESTRUCTURING the way that camp clean-up is done. Since camp is used more frequently year-round, and there are not as many able-bodied volunteers in churches able to come help, we are DISSOLVING the church-assigned clean-up areas that are done yearly into service days, so not just churches, but other volunteers can help maintain camp's facilities throughout the year.

In order for this to work, we need more participation on these service days to help keep up with camp cleaning. The areas to be cleaned are assigned between the first 3 service days of the year in keeping with when the buildings are used in the camping season.

Tree cutting, wood splitting, garden maintenance, newsletter & auction booklet stapling, etc

Thursday Volunteer Days

9am-3pm

Any and all Camp Mardela maintenance, cleaning, vehicle, building, or property projects that need to be done each week!
